Very Good used paperback. Some fading, shelf-wear, and chipping to cover.
First published in 1979, and now including a new preface, this is James T. Harris's landmark work on the peregrine falcon in Greenland. Harris was part of the first research team to study Greenland's peregrine falcons. The group's task was to learn whether the falcons still nested on cliffs rising above the tundra. He describes vividly the search for the eyries and, in particular, his intensive observation of one falcon family.
