Order & Shipping FAQs

What payment methods do you accept?
Online checkout is fast and secure - you may pay for your order with any major credit card, PayPal, or ShopPay. To pay by check, complete your order online and print the receipt; mail this along with your check to the address on the receipt. Once your check has been successfully deposited, your order will be shipped to you.

How much does shipping cost?
We love to send you awesome stuff – but shipping books around the world can be expensive (books are heavy)! Our shipping costs are real and the amount we collect for shipping and handling from our customers covers a portion of what we actually spend. Shipping rates are calculated based on the total weight of items in your order. You may wish to read our Shipping Policy.

When will my order be delivered?
You'll receive an automated email with tracking information once your book(s) have been scanned in by the shipping carrier. Delivery dates depend on the shipping method you choose at checkout. Note that we cannot guarantee a delivery date, and sometimes weather, holidays, or other events outside our control may cause delays. We pick and pack every day, and do our best to get orders on their way to you promptly!

If you choose the "in store pick up" option at checkout, we will hold the book for you in our shop. Please have your order number and name ready when you come in. There is no deadline for pickup. We look forward to seeing you!

I placed a pre-order or back-order. How long will it take to receive my book?
We always include the expected in-stock date on forthcoming titles. This is when your order will ship, and you'll receive an automated email with tracking information once it's en route. Back-order wait times depend on publisher or distributor availability. Please feel free to email us any time to check on the status of your pending order.

If I change my mind, can I return a book?
In short, usually yes. Please read our Refund Policy for complete information about when and how returns work.
