Very Good used paperback. Tight binding. Clean pages. Small stain on bottom edge.
This is a guide to both well-known and little known birdwatching sites on the San Francisco Peninsula, from SF to the southern end of San Mateo County. The diversity of habitats and birds found in this area is reflected by the variety of over 30 areas described, which range from coastal marshes to bay shoreline, from large urban parks to small neighborhood parks, and from redwood forests to serpentine grasslands. There are detailed descriptions of each area and what birds you can expect to find there.
This book is a project of the Sequoia Audubon Society with contributions from members of the Golden Gate Audubon Society. Chapter members produced the descriptions, illustrations, and maps. The book also contains a helpful index of birds species and a list of birdwatching resources for this area.
