Seventh edition, updated as of December 2020. After years of tremendous hard work from dedicated volunteers, talented photographers, and the HAS board, the 7th edition of Hawaii's Birds is now available. This latest edition is a beautifully restyled update. It contains new photos from over 50 local photographers who have provided their beautiful bird photos without charge for use in the 7th Edition; and there is new information on conservation actions and issues for native birds, as well as fascinating references to Hawaiiana.

A pocket-sized photographic field guide with color photos and paintings organized by habitat. With a checklist of endemic species, maps of popular birding sites, and a species index. Species accounts include English, Hawaiian and Latin names, with distribution, description, Voice, and Habits, and status codes. Includes all of the native and introduced birds that are regularly seen in Hawai'i today, including Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Lanai, Molokai, and the Northwest Hawaiian Island Chain of the Hawaiian Archipelago.
