Birds of the Indus

While studying birds of the rivers and seas, author Mubashir Hasan explored a wide region of the Indus valley of the South Asian subcontinent, from ranges of arid hills to forest-covered mountains and from richly cultivated plains to sparsely vegetated plateaus. This book culminates Hasan's explorations, covering over 230 birds from different species. It is well-illustrated and offers complete descriptions of the birds' size, habits and habitat, and their vernacular names. Color photographs accompany descriptions, habits, and habitats.
