Gwynne's original paintings and drawings made for A Field Guide to the Birds of Panama (1976) by Robert S. Ridgely and the second edition of that work expanded to include Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Honduras (1989). Ridgely and Gwynne met as undergraduates at Princeton and their collaboration has stood the test of time. Both continue to contribute their talents to the conservation and appreciation of the birds of the Neotropics. Plates vary in size, approximately 22 x 15 inches.
